How much do the courses cost?


Pricing is determined by how long a project is expected to take and how much materials/instructions/resource guide costs are. All projects are intended to teach new techniques and methods while enjoying one another’s company. Completing a project is not mandatory but should be possible for most participants. A typical project will meet 1 hour a week for 8 weeks. That includes 6 weeks of guided instruction and 2 weeks for makeups, all with the company of your fellow miniaturists. Every 6 months there will be a free week so you can bring projects you would like to complete with the group. Group sizes will be limited to no more than 8 people and participation is $160.00 per person. There may be future projects that will only be 4-week programs. These will be smaller or less complicated projects. These projects will follow a similar registration schedule as listed above. Group Participation will be $80.00. There will periodically be Round Robin projects. These are single meetings to make a custom accessory or learn a single technique. These will be designed to take advantage of materials available in most homes or local craft stores. There will not be a Special Materials Pack for these projects. There will be, however, a PDF of the Instructions and Resource Guide available. Group participation is $20.00 per person.




Can I get a refund?


Refunds for Class membership will only be available until two weeks before Class begins, at which time, all fees will be considered earned. Special Material Package and Instruction costs may not be refunded.

What is included when I register for a course?


When a person registers for an 8-week program before the end of early registration, they will receive a PDF of the Instructions with color photos, and a Resource Guide free with the cost of the Special Materials Pack and the Group Participant cost of $160.00. The Special Materials Pack, Instructions and Resource Guides will only be provided with Group participation. Special Material costs will vary based on the materials included. Shipping is included in the cost of the Special Materials Pack. If a person registers during regular registration, they will receive the PDF of the Instructions and Resource Guide for an additional $10.00, plus the Special Materials Pack (cost varies) and Group Participation membership of $160.00. Anyone registering less than 2 weeks prior to the Group start date will receive the PDF if the Instructions and Resource Guide for $10.00 and Group Participation membership of $160.00, but the Special Materials Pack will not be available. Each participant will need to gather the tools and common materials listed in the Basic Tool Video before the project start date. These materials will not be included in the Special Materials Pack but will be essential to completing the projects.




What information will you be collecting from me?


We will keep your name, address, phone number, and e-mail on file with MMinC. These will be used to communicate with the members, and mail material packages. Only first names will be shared with other members of the group. We do not sell your information or provide it to any third party services. We recommend only using first names in the meeting identifier but have no control of what identifier members use. Any financial information will be requested at time of purchase and discarded after the purchase is complete. Photos and videos submitted to the site will be used for promotional purposes. Images contained in meeting sessions may be used for promotional purposes.




Copyright Policy


Participants are welcome to watch the live sessions and print a copy of the instructions for their personal use. We encourage you to share photos and videos of your projects as you like. You are also encouraged to share the link to our site and social media postings. Please do not share the instructions or recorded sessions with anyone else without express permission of MMinC. The instructions are intended to be used to elaborate on techniques and processes shown in the meetings. And the recordings are for those members who are not able to attend. Recordings will need to be requested via e-mail and will only be available for two weeks after the last day of the scheduled project.
